I second what Heidi said about Jennifer McGuire's Thinking Inkings class on 2Peas! I have been a stamper for over 13 years and I love stamp techniques and even though some of her stuff wasn't new to me she offered lots of practical tips. One of my favorites was to lay your clear stamp down and then pick it up with the acrylic block so it will be straight. So obvious but I never thought to do that- now I can stamp text straight!

I am addicted to my stamps and love to play with new techniques. Jennifer McGuire's Thinking Inking class on 2Peas is a great place to go if you want to learn some new techniques. I have incorporated a few of them recently on some of the cards I've uploaded here such as ink resist, multi-embossing powder, faux wax seals, and distress ink resist.

Has anyone tried to candle soot and stamp technique? I was going to try it but haven't found the time yet. I love the way it looks.

I'm also new to this I just purchased an embossing heat gun. I use wood stamps and acrylic stamps. I just want to learn more stamping and embossing tricks.
